PerUs is a boutique winery with Russell Bevan at the helm of their winemaking, located at Tench Vineyard, in the heart of Oakville next to the legendary Screaming Eagle. The most refined of the 2016 PerUs wines, this wine displays the purity that can be achieved from high elevation vineyards. Crafted mostly from a vineyard atop Atlas Peak in Napa’s Eastern mountain range, this wine dances on the palate with high tones and amazing acidity. The 90% Cabernet Sauvignon is buttressed by 10% Cabernet Franc for Sugarloaf Mountain, resulting in a wine with perfect balance and a finish that begs for another glass.

Notes of blackberry and liquorice, dark olives, cedar box, cloves and mocha. This is a big and bruisy red. Pair with beef and venison.
